Representing You in Court, or at a Mediation or Arbitration

representing-you-in-court

If you have retained our firm on a limited retainer basis, you can still have one of our lawyers represent you in court or at a mediation or arbitration, even if your lawyer is not the solicitor of record. (See Overview of the Legal Services We Offer for an explanation of the difference between a solicitor of record and an agent.)

When acting as your agent, your lawyer will appear in court with you, but you will be responsible for filing all materials leading up to or subsequent to that court appearance, and you will correspond with the opposing party directly.
